On February 18, 2025, the Institute for the Study of Nationalism and Conflicts (ISNC), in collaboration with the Caucasian House and the Levan Mikheladze Foundation, organized a presentation and discussion in Tbilisi at the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel on the topic of conflict transformation in Georgia.

The event featured the presentation of a public opinion survey, “Conflicts in Georgia: Perceptions, Attitudes, and Expectations,” conducted by CRRC Georgia with the participation of over 2,000 respondents nationwide. The study analyzed public attitudes toward existing conflicts, as well as perceptions and expectations regarding the future.

In parallel, an operational plan for conflict transformation was presented, based on the document “The Approach to Conflict Transformation”, which outlines specific steps to support peace and conflict transformation in Georgia.

During the discussion, participants examined the survey findings and deliberated on the challenges and opportunities in advancing conflict transformation in Georgia.

Both the public opinion survey and the operational plan were developed under the project “Conflict Transformation in Georgia: Preparing for Change,” implemented by ISNC in partnership with the Caucasian House and the Levan Mikheladze Foundation, with financial support from the joint UK-UNDP initiative (UK-SSP).

The project aims to use a comprehensive and reliable evidence base to determine public attitudes toward conflicts and to develop concrete, evidence-informed steps for the peaceful transformation of conflicts in Georgia.
