On May 16, a meeting titled “Together for Peace” was held at the Odzisi village school. Within the framework of the event, teachers participating in the project “Education for Reconciliation” met with students, parents, and local residents to discuss peacebuilding, the challenges and problems caused by conflict, and ways to resolve them peacefully.

The event also included a screening and discussion of the film “History Turned into a Weapon.”

The meeting was organized within the project “Education for Reconciliation,” implemented by the Institute for the Study of Nationalism and Conflicts with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands.

As part of the project, teachers participated in a series of training sessions where they received information on peace education and conflict-sensitive approaches. They also learned how to design and implement peace initiatives. At the final stage, the teachers had the opportunity to carry out their own peacebuilding initiatives in schools with internal funding support.
